Actually FriendlyPiranha is right...the following was issued by the TTC Sept. 2, 2010, effective Sept. 5:

From http://www3.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Service_changes/Sept_72_Pape.jsp
"Service on the 72B (Pape Station-Union Station via Cherry Beach) branch will end for the season during the midday and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday and during the evenings on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Seasonal service on the 72B (Pape Station-Union Stn via Cherry Beach) branch will continue during the evenings from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, until mid-October. "

And to regards to my previous post, I'm glad it's not raining for you guys but I'm still not going...I did a LOT of heavy furniture moving this week and I'm just too sore.
