Ok everyone, question now is are you ok with having more than 15 ppl? can the office accomodate?

If not, we can easily do the church since there are enough people to make the cost quite miminal

I'm really sorry but I haven't heard back from my org yet.
Can we proceed with the church option instead?

In the meantime, I will continue to get Ts crossed and I's dotted for potential future sessions.

Ok everyone, I'm going to reserve my church and I'm going to put the money up front.

Please confirm your position on the poll and I can ensure we have enough for attendance. I'll confirm the date and reservation hopefully by Monday.

Sorry, just taught myself lightroom with video tutorials from a DVD I borrowed from my friend over the last few days. Couldn't resist :oops: So, I'll be probably interested for the intermediate one.

can you beleive I STILL haven't gotten a response from the security folk at my office. sigh. I will try to push things along tomorrow morning...give me til noon to confirm... but seems it may have to be the church....

Ok everyone, I only have 5 names so far in... so I would really like to do this, but I need 10 names.

If I change the date to next Wednesday or Thursday, does that help? or make things worse?

Hello!

I am brand new to the forum and I am very interested in attending this workshop.

I clicked on the 'register' button on the top of the thread, I'm not sure if that counts as a confirmed RSVP but I am able and would like to attend this Thursday (13th) at 6:30. Next week is ok for me as well, if the date changes.

I was trying to follow the plan by reading through the thread and I got a little lost!! Can someone re-confirm the location.

I got confirmation for the following dates: (I figured with all the red tape, I should secure another date... a "just in case" or "why not" date.

If you need to set anything up, please come a few minutes early.

Otherwise come a few minutes before 6:30 so that I can get everyone signed in.

Please PM me your TPMG IDs & your real names so that I can provide to security.

I'll be waiting for you in the lobby of The Globe and Mail building.
The address is 444 Front Street W (at Spadina, beside the Toyota dealership)

We will be going up a small flight of stairs to get to the boardroom. (the escalator shuts off at 6pm) - if this is an issue for anyone, let me know in your private message to me (there is an elevator on the other side of the building if need be)

$10 is NOT required at The Globe office.
There is a cafeteria that will be open if anyone wants a coffee or snacks.

I'd like to provide a list to security by 3pm tomorrow. If your real name (first and last name) is not on the list, then I'm afraid they will not let you into the building.

If anyone has a Macbook or a mac we can project on the projector, then I can bring LR for Mac... there are suttle differences, but nothing substantial.

No, not LR3... mac mini should work if you bring all the cables, especially the display one.. I have a bluetooth mouse but no keyboard, but I can bring a USB one
