hah haah

I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about lingerie, swimsuit or Maxim glamour ;)

personally, i'm down for anything, and the model(s) I have in mind are game.

Just to give everyone a hint too, I'm definitely bringing a fan of some sort to the shoot.

Can I support the feminists here and say we should try to make art that is not just for consumption by lascivious male eyes?

too cold for that stuff. The skin will have red blotches everywhere and you'll have a helluva time fixing that in post.

Not a good idea, unless you like to do more work than necessary

what's up with zombies?

are we getting male models too? More possibilities with male and female models, I should think.

Well this is nice for a change. Work keeps me away from the weekday meet ups.

It doesn't matter if I get to shoot or not.

Wow, I'm kinda embaressed and flattered at the turn out for this event...

I hope I can make this one better than the last :S

Anyone think of a good site?

I know of the old cinema near the Brunswick House on Bloor that we can rent out for like all day.

We can easily hold all of us and more.

i upp'ed the time just in case, cause I think we could definitely do a lot during the day as well.

It may start getting darker around 6pm those days anyhow.

I've been thinking about the indoor and outdoor shoots, as around that time of year, its going to be cold and models, don't like the cold... for short bursts, for sure, but over a long period of time, it gets hard.

I'm thinking that, for the beginners in the group like myself, we should have a technical dry run, a chance for the photographers to mess around with flashes, triggers, modifiers, ratios, lighting angles, different number of lights, balancing ambient and flash etc.

A purely technical one, to explore how the different variables interact. Without the pressure of models, without the need to be aesthetically perfect or anything. Also, a chance for photographers to feel what's it like on the other side of the camera (and to make a better FB/TPMG pix), and for those who are buying/bought new gear, to go test them out and see if the purchases have been worth the money.

I won't pretend to know what I'm doing, so while I'm happy to go shooting with a few peers, I may not be the best person to be 'leading' the session, so to speak.

How about 1-2 weeks before the event?

Sure! I'm down.... where do you propose? and when :D We should keep the numbers down so everyone has time to play, learn and ask questions.

At this stage, I'm going to say No cause depending on our location, we may expand the main registration.

The hope is to involve ppl without gear with the gear we all have.

Stay tuned though Dan, but most likely, you'll end up bringing your gear anyhow :D (at least have it in the car, just in case)
