Hey guys, for watermarking your images, what are you guys using to do it?

My set's pretty much processed, but I do wanted to watermark it so it looks more 'pro'

If it's photoshop, do you guys use a specific plugin?

I don't WM my images [yet]. Post processing is not my 'thing' so I will defer to those who do.

i just used the lightroom's default option for watermarking. it takes the meta data and automatically puts it in for you. but this does look very crude.

PS: text tool, adjust opacity to 60%

Still want to figure out how to make a PS action out of this, so the watermarks are batch added, and maintain the same size across pictures. For some reason, the text size changes from picture to picture for me.

I use PS to do it, and I defined an action to do it... its basically an action that "pastes", moves, resizes, and stays open. Then I fine tune position and inversion of colour after.

the size changes because of your relative size in your crop of the original photo.

I know there must be a good way to do it in LR, but haven't taken the time to figure it out.

Take a look at this perhaps...

It'll give you an idea on how you can create your own action perhaps.

I don't typically watermark my photos but when I do I use the LR and it's crude watermark facility. From what I read there is a plugin for LR that makes it a lot less crude and more flexible.

Thanks! This was what I was looking for - earlier on you sent me a link to this before, but I lost it and did not know where to look for it.

On your 5D mk2, that will make the CF card manufacturers very happy indeed ;)

Hey Justin, let me know if you get any feedback from the models. I'm curious to know what they think of the pictures and the event in general.

P.S. Can I get a copy of the model release(s) sent to my personal email addy?

Yup! np james, I'll just scan it and send you a copy.

I haven't sent the pics yet to the models as I'm still waiting on ppl to send me their output. I don't want to keep sending more and more photos so its even for everyone. The models are quite anxious to get their pics!

So as a note, not to rush all the photogs on development... but please send me your top 10 soon :D

Ah Dan, next time, please hold off, cause I wanted to make it fair to all the other photogs that participated.

I just didn't want them to receive like 30 photos from you, and if another participant only sends like 2...

I only sent one or two to each. I only took about 50 shots and will only process 1-2 for each of the three models I shot.

How can I contact Christy?
