Last I checked, most of the parking lot is under construction. I can probably provide an update closer to the date.

Last Sat. the Lot was under construction. We parked at the school just south of there.

There was some wedding photography going on, and when I tried to take some snaps of my friends (totally seperate away from the wedding stuff), some rep. from EG told me that I needed a permit to take pics of my friends there. I told her that I was just taking pics of my friends.

Permit? Really?

That's ridiculous. Is this a private garden? Surely there can't be a by-law against taking a picture of someone while walking around.

that is silly... you don't need a permit to take pictures of your friends. That woman was mis-informed.

I have had random strangers in the park say I needed a permit before when I was taking pictures of flowers! But I just smiled and ignored them :)

I believe there was a sign that prohibits wedding photograph without a permit but not photography.
