I agree with this.
Given that the price of the event depends heavily on the attendance, it's important for all of us to agree on a set of conditions like above, or else it will become very expensive for everyone else.

I also agree.
I'm picking up Shelley so I'll have room for up to two more. Leaving from Scarborough.

Today's weather forecast for Gravenhurst on Saturday looks bad. Environment Canada calls for showers while the Weather Network is calling for 80% POP and 10-15 mm.

Sunday looks marginally better with EC calling for clouds and WN calling for 40% POP, scattered showers less then 1mm. Would a jump to Sunday afternoon make sense?

I have emailed MWC to see if it is possible to move to Sunday at the same time.

Well, with Sunday's light painting being postponed, I'm in for Sunday if the weather is half decent.

Unfortunately, I will too, as I have plans for that day already.

Looks like we should cancel and maybe book for another weekend. Saturday definitely doesn't look good and with people dropping out on Sunday the cost becomes prohibitive.

Could we not try for next week or the week after?

Sorry folks, but it looks like the weather is not our friend. Saturday looks like rain and Sunday looks only marginally better. So as has been suggested cancellation seems to be the best option.

The purpose of this shoot was to try and get the animals with some remaining fall colour. Postponing for a couple of weeks will put us into November and backgrounds will be poor. If I book another event at MWC I will probably wait till January so we can shoot with snow and the animals will be in their full winter coats.

I have notified the MWC we are cancelling this shoot for this weekend.

I added cancelled at the top in the title, beside the date line at the bottom of your info in the original post.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Maureen. That's great. Hopefully the ability to edit events will be worked out soon.

Too Bad! I was really looking forward to this. Would we really see much of the fall colours if we are shooting inside the refuge?
