We are all home safe and sound except for Sarah who will be back home soon.

Well my first flight was great. As was the trip. We had wonderful adventures and great weather. Missed all the weather here in Ontario (Tornados and Earthguakes -- we were all waitinfor locusts or flying frog to strike next -- ha ha ha)

We had some additions and few minor adjustments on the trip but other wise a fabulous trip.

I believe it was well enjoyed by all.

Wonderful planning on Sarah's part. Great hospitality by Marilyn and her use of her car for the trip.

Rain was brief when it happened and did not hinder us. Warm weather, of which we brought with us.

Yes for all those who know me and my many layers I wore short and t-shirts during the daylight hours everyday, so it had to be warm enough for that. Sarah went for a swim in the Ocean, but I thought it was a bit too cool for that.

We had seafood galore -- mussels, clams, haddock, salt cod (fishcakes), raw oysters on the 1/2 shell, crab, lobster, seafood chowder, clam chowder, shrimp, scallops, and salmon. We ate it Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner. We even had LICK A CHICK -- famous chicken place to eat at.

Can't wait to see some pictures of the trip.

Welcome back! Two things....
1. Seriously, your first flight?

2. Sooo envious, need a lobster fix soon.

Good to hear all went well, looking forward to seeing the photos.

Glad to hear you are home. How was the bus and train ride home?

Yes it was my first flight. I have been on helicopters and small planes which landed on the water on pontoons, but never a big plane.

It was really great. Some photos on my facebook page posted of the flight and back home.

Alright firing the first pic. For Marilyn, awesome hospitality and patience to my endless curiousity about their island, and to Sarah's planning.

The lighthouse across the fortress.

A 30 ft drop in front of where we parked. A short scramble and hoped the bugs were not there.
