Ouch, that bites. That's more or less one of the largest fears any photographer has regarding his/her gear. Ions has a good idea regarding home insurance. Probably worth a shot.

Hey All,

I've already started the home insurance route - (last Monday) it looks like it will cover it - BUT I have to fill out the whole claim information, etc - so until that claim is officially approved - you never really know! I'll keep you all updated!

It has been approved (over the phone - they gave the go ahead to proceed with the replacement from Nikon)!!! I hope to have my replacement camera early next week - bring on the TMPG Events!!!

As soon as there's some snow on the ground I'm up for Waterfalls: Winter Edition with some new falls.

Congrats, I'm relieved that things worked out as well as they did all things considered.

Hehe. I fully intend(ed) to make an event but I'm in the process of applying/procrastinating to Masters programs now so it keeps getting pushed off. Somebody 'round here could do it but I guess if Beach Camera Club isn't gonna do it there's no event to piggyback. ;)
