Details:

What: Toronto Cosplay Picnic
When: Saturday, July 10th, 2010
Time: 11AM to 6PM
Where: Centre Island or at the harbor
Bring: $6.50 ferry fare / Camera
Other pertinent information goes here.

The link is working fine for me now too, it wasn't earlier.

Ions considering it's a picnic in a public place unwelcome photographers can be expected to be hit by a phaser blast set on stun.

I spent about 20 minutes using my P&S at the one in 2008.

I've added the attendance feature to this event, as there is no indication as to who will attend. It will help the organizer of this ad-hoc to figure out who is coming.

lxdesign tnx for adding attendance.. I never been in Center Island =) but I like cosplay,,, hope someone in TPMG will be coming so I won't be alone taking pics ... Metrix are you coming this year??

I don't know only if I can combine it with a longer shoot around the island as it is really not my usual subject. Recommend going if you would like to shoot people and you are normally too shy to ask or you just like cosplay.

weather looks perfect tomorrow so I'll stick around on the island and shoot some night shots again!


edit: for those who are interested, should be able to get a nice silhouette of CN tower from algonquin island according to this.

a bit of sharpening and bumped up the contrast a bit. didn't have to do much though
