What: Lecture: Millworks Project
When: Mon. May 31st 2010
Time: 7PM
Where: 250 College Street, CAMH - Aldwyn B. Stokes Auditorium
Bring: yourself! And a donation to TPMG.

TPMG Organizer and member David Sweeney has spent just over the last 2 years working on a project which he titles "MILLWORKS". The project is a photographic documentry of Ontario's milling history. David has mounted his second exhibit at TAN Coffee this month (992 Queen Street W) which runs from May 5th to May 31st 2010.

David will give a brief outline on mill history, including the importance of milling in Ontario communities. He will feature some of his favorite mills he has photographed and visited to date. And the presentation will wrap up with a slideshow presentation of images. The talk will run roughly 1.5 -2 hours at most.

I'd like to attend, but I'll be working late, so I won't be able to show up until shortly past 8:00. (I'd miss most of the presentation, but I'm assuming there will be post-presentation food.)

Yes, tomorrow is not going to be any different from Thursday. This is my trial run at the presentation.

Is there a fee if anyone wanted to go on Thursday? I see that the Beach Photo Club has an annual membership fee of $70.00.

St. Aidan's Church, 70 SilverBirch Ave. (at Queen E).

Door is the southernmost east facing door (I think).

Great presentation tonight, David.

Only thing that stood out to me image wise is the one mill late in the slideshow with the newish car in the driveway. That one is begging for a reshoot without said car.

It was funny with me doing a mental checklist of which ones I've been to too.
