I had to do a quick blog to load my pictures here. I had one before but lost the account to inactive status.

This goes to you Maureen for organizing the event, driving us around, waking us up. Your stamina and patience is inspiring.

Point Clark Lighthouse, A child's perspective. Orton imagery applied

Canon 17mm , 1D MkII, Tungsten preset WB.
PP is WB and color correction in Bridge

Thanks Randy! Nice shot. I loved it all. It was a really fabulous trip. As for stamina and patience I guess that comes from my job of working with children everyday (child care).

Lots of great shots from everyone keep them coming. I'm still working on mine but, likely won't be until late in August or early September.

Third attempt to post a pic. I think I got it now, but we shall see...

A 6 shot photomerge shot at vertical and manual focused. All the swatting and killing as the mosquitos feasted on us. Was it worth it? Hell yeah

I was using my original image when I realized Blogspot was resizing. I used properties, copy and paste on the actual displayed images of my url. I was clicking on the image before then copy and paste (which brought you to the actual uploaded size)

Probably gonna go flicker.

Is there protocol when posting pictures of fellow tpmg'ers? Im not really sure if it's a silly question but I'm hesistant posting pictures without release or consent. Or do I need to clear this up with subject/subjects before doing so?

I'd rather be clear than step on privacy toes.

You could always PM the person in question
to make sure they don't object.
And maybe don't post unflattering or embarrassing photo's.

Tim

Thanks Tim. I would never embarrass or humiliate anyone for that matter.

This might be seen as extreme and I might have opened a can of worms. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in today. The devil is in the " scope and use of the image".

I have several shots with people in the scene (scale) and candid portraits as well. I guess an e-mail response from the concerned person would be enough.

A few more thoughts would be helpful.

Alot of TPMGers take pictures of others on events, and also post them in the thread. Some are already posted in this thread. Many other threads also carry photos of other TPMGers. I think it is nice to see yourself at an event as usually most photographers are always behind the camera and not depicted as being there. Go ahead and post them!

I'm looking into doing another one -- likely for the long weekend in August. Will likely have something available near the end of June.
