What: October Social
When: Thursday, October 22, 2009
Time: 7:00PM
Where: St. Louis Bar and Grill at 2050 Yonge St (South of Eglinton Ave) [corner of Yonge St. and Lola Rd.]
Bring: Yourself, and an appitite for wings and ribs or other choices, cameras as always are optional, as well as any new toys/gear anyone has.

Well at last the October Social has been booked. A bit of short notice for everyone, but hopefully everyone can make it out. Central location on Yonge St about half way between Davisville Subway and Eglinton Subway. Any of the TTC #97 Buses pass by both subways, could be a street transfer.

Please confrim ASAP so that I can confirm numbers.

Parking: Some parking is available off Lola Rd. and other side streets also have more parking.

Darn.... would have been free on the 21st, but have a possible conflict on the 22nd. I'll see if I can get away for a few hours.

I think I am probably coming.... I am going to sneak out of work (I am only supervising a show anyhow), and then sneak back to work for the end.

David, you must be hard core TPMG with a statement like that!

Well.. I am only supervising a show at the theatre which has already been running for a week, so its not like something major is going to happen if I am gone for 3 hours. And it something major does happen, its not like I can do anything about it until after the show.

According to the St Louis Wings website, at this location, there are 1/2 price appetizers with the purchase of a large beverage on Thursdays (i.e., tonight) after 5pm.

Thanks Maureen for organizing! It was a fun night; the wings were great, and the variety of cameras and lens was beyond mind blowing! Amazing - I love it!

Of course all good photographers know it is not worth worrying about things like composition and exposure until you have amassed at least $5000 in camera gear.
