We're still on.... there is only a 40% POP for the evening. That's 60% chance that we're all good!

It looks like I'll have to miss this one; I'll probably be working late.

Couldn't join you guys for dinner but I'll try next time. It was fun exploring Liberty Village again.

First thank you lxdesign for organizing this...it's great to visit parts of the city that I've never ventured into.

Second, hope you don't mind if I post a few pics; seeing some of the areas you've visited last night taken through a (semi) fisheye lens may tempt you to get a one too. I admit that I pushed the distortions by getting right up close to objects; although the lens wasn't originally intended for that, that's what makes it fun. Note, these were quick edits (2 minutes or less per image) to get them up quickly.

Larger versions of the images (as well as additional ones) can be found at:

Note that if you tilt the camera down with a fisheye you WILL get your own shoes in the shot:

Thanks everyone, it was an excellent turn-out, and the event went very well.... sorry if I was miles ahead of most of you - I was trying to get in all of the cool locations before the light faded away. And as I expected, the TFC crowd's never posed a problem, even for the pub meetup afterwards.

Photo's looking good so far! Hope to see more. thanks.

David

Thanks David for organizing this event. It was lots of fun and we didn't lose anyone through the twists and turn.

Thanks for arranging the walk David, I did enjoy it. I never done a fast paced shoot before, it was a good challenge for me. It exposes ones limitations and helps to learn ...

Thanks David for leading such a great walk!

Even though I live nearby I doubt I would've ever thought of wandering down there to take pictures - it was pretty surprising how much interesting stuff there was to shoot down there.... like random yellow pipes:

My take on those pipes

<img src="http://www.ljplus.ru/img4/m/o/moontemple/_MG_0483.jpg" alt='234.49 &#1050;&#1041;'>

And coming from a culture with a strong wall rug tradition, this one takes it on a whole new level of meaning to me :lol:
