All photographers and photography enthusiasts are welcome. We are about learning, socializing, and generally finding cool places to shoot. We've grown into a very active group, with a large solid core of regular members. We have enough passionate photographers in our midst, that if you can think of something to shoot, there will almost always be TPMG members willing to go.

We are an active photography group. Many of our meetups will be photoshoots, but they are often preceded or followed by meals, where discussion and photo review may happen. We also have regular "print swaps" where we critique and learn from each others' photos. There are camera clubs where the discussions of cameras is more important that the actual act of photography. This is not one of those clubs - we like to get out there and shoot!

We have a wide range of skill levels, from first time camera users to seasoned professionals. You will find that everyone is happy to share the knowledge that they have, and that questions are always appreciated.

New faces are always welcome. Everyone was new at one point, so don't be shy...there's a pretty good chance you're not the only one at an event who is new.

For those who would like to share photos from a TPMG event, there is an online gallery that members can upload their photos once the event album has been created by an organizer. Images larger than 640x480 will be resized and old albums may be deleted without notice in consideration of disk space. Images posted not related to an event will be removed.
